Flaky all-butter puff pastry is filled with seasoned pork mince and crumbled Boursin® Blue Cheese Flavour, then brushed with a savory Boursin® Blue Cheese Flavour egg wash and baked until golden. Your Turn To Create

Make The Filling
  • In a large bowl, mix pork mince, onion, garlic, thyme, mustard, pepper, breadcrumbs, and egg until just combined.
  • Gently fold in the Boursin® so you get pockets of cheese, not a paste.
  • Chill the mixture for 15–20 minutes (firms up = easier shaping).
Prepare The Pastry
  • Heat oven to 200°C (180°C fan).
  • Roll puff pastry into a rectangle about 3 mm thick.
  • Cut lengthways into 2 long strips.
Assemble
  • Divide filling into 2 logs and place along one edge of each pastry strip.
  • Brush the opposite edge lightly with water.
  • Roll tightly, seam side down.
  • Cut into desired sizes.
  • Transfer to a lined tray and rest and chill for 10 minutes (helps keep shape and firm up).
Finish with Boursin® Blue Cheese Flavour Egg Wash
  • Whisk egg wash ingredients until smooth (push through sieve if needed for extra smoothness to ensure not grainy).
  • Brush the rolls generously with the egg wash.
Bake & Serve
  • Bake for 25–30 minutes (small) or 35–40 minutes (large) until deeply golden, puffed, and crisp.

For Boursin® Blue Cheese Flavour Dip
  • Place the Boursin®, pickle juice, and water in a microwave-safe bowl.
  • Microwave for 30 seconds, then whisk until smooth.
  • Stir in the sour cream, mayonnaise, buttermilk, and white pepper until well combined and creamy.
  • Cover and chill for at least 30 minutes to allow flavours to develop.
  • Serve with your Boursin® Blue Cheese Flavour sausage rolls.

  • FOR SAUSAGE FILLING

  • 150 g Boursin Blue Cheese Flavour

  • 500g good-quality pork mince

  • 1 small onion, very finely diced or grated

  • 1 garlic clove, crushed and roughly chopped

  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard

  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

  • 1 egg

  • FOR PASTRY

  • 1 block all-butter puff pastry

  • Flour for rolling

  • FOR EGG WASH

  • 1 egg yolk

  • 50ml milk

  • 50 g Boursin Blue Cheese Flavour

  • Pinch black pepper

  • FOR BOURSIN BLUE CHEESE FLAVOUR DIP

  • 150 g Boursin Blue Cheese Flavour

  • 1 tbsp cornichon pickle juice, we’ve all got one in the cupboard (or white wine vinegar / lemon juice)

  • 1 tbsp water

  • 100 ml sour cream

  • 100 ml mayonnaise

  • 20 g buttermilk

  • 1/2 tsp ground white pepper
