Boursin-stuffed Pork Chops

with Boursin Black Pepper Cheese

Prep
  • Using the tip of a chef’s knife, cut a pocket in each pork chop leaving 1 to 1.5cm of meat all the way around
  • Combine Boursin Cheese and diced apples in small bowl
  • Dividing equally, spoon cheese mixture into each chop pocket
  • Season chops with salt and black pepper
Cook
  • Heat olive oil in large frying pan
  • Add chops and cook 2 minutes until brown on first side
  • Flip chops, reduce heat to medium
  • Cover and cook for 8 minutes
  • Remove chops and keep warm
Combine and Serve
  • Heat stove to medium-high
  • In the same frying pan, add chicken broth, wine, and mustard
  • Cook, stirring constantly until reduced by half
  • Add parsley
  • Spoon sauce over chops
  • Serve immediately

Tip

When buying pork chops, make sure they are light pink in colour and contain a small amount of marbling throughout.

  • 4 bone-in pork chops

  • 1/4 cup finely diced red apple

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 120ml chicken broth

  • 60ml white wine

  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

  • 20g roughly chopped parsley

  • Sea salt

  • Freshly ground black pepper

  • 1/2 box of Boursin Black Pepper Cheese

  • 2 bone-in pork chops

  • 1/8 cup finely diced red apple

  • 1/2 tablespoon olive oil

  • 60ml chicken broth

  • 30ml white wine

  • 1 tablespoons Dijon mustard

  • 10g roughly chopped parsley

  • Sea salt

  • Freshly ground black pepper
