  • Cut the baguette into 1 cm thick slices and toast them. You can also brown them in a dry pan for 1 min. on each side.
  • Peel the onions and cut them into thin slices.
  • In a pot, bring the white vinegar, salt and sugar to a boil.
  • Add the onions, turn off the heat and allow to cool.
  • Cut the ham slices in 3 lengthwise.
  • Break up the walnuts.
  • Once cooled, Spread about a tablespoon of Boursin® on the toasted bread.
  • Place the ham in a waved shape on top with 2 slices of marinated onion.
  • Sprinkle the slivers of walnut and place a sprig of oregano on top.
  • And that's all it takes! Voilà! You’ve created a delicious blend of simplicity and elegance.

Tip

You can replace the marinated onion with a dollop of store-bought onion confit or preserves.

  • 1/2 seeded baguette

  • 2 fine slices of Serrano ham

  • 6 sprigs of oregano

  • 1 1/2 walnuts

  • 1/2 red onion

  • 1 1/2 tablespoons of sugar

  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt

  • 125 ml of white vinegar

  • 80g of Boursin Garlic & Herb Cheese

  • 1 seeded baguette

  • 4 fine slices of Serrano ham

  • 12 sprigs of oregano

  • 3 walnuts

  • 1 red onion

  • 3 tablespoons of sugar

  • 1 teaspoon of salt

  • 250 ml of white vinegar
