Farmhouse Mac ’n Cheese

with Boursin Garlic & Herbs Cheese

Pasta and Cheese Sauce
  • Cook pasta according to package instructions
  • Drain pasta and keep warm
  • Place heavy cream, garlic powder, salt, and all but 2 tablespoons of Boursin Cheese into a large pot
  • Bring to boil, then reduce heat, and simmer for 3 minutes
  • Stir to evenly combine into a smooth sauce
  • Remove pot from the heat
  • Place large nonstick frying pan on high heat, add oil
  • When oil begins to shimmer, add turkey sausage and spread into an even layer
  • Layer onions over sausage, then place apples over onions
  • Sprinkle with the fresh thyme
  • Cook without stirring for 1 minute, then stir to combine
  • Cook for an additional 3-5 minutes until apples begin to soften and onions become translucent and begin to brown around the edges
Combine and Serve
  • Add drained pasta to cheese sauce and stir gently to evenly combine
  • Divide cheesy pasta into serving bowls
  • Spoon sausage mixture onto each pasta serving
  • Sprinkle with fresh parsley, ground pepper, and remaining Boursin Cheese


Adding just a little salt to your pasta water will improve the flavour of your pasta and help the water boil faster.

  • 400g smoked turkey sausages, cut into thin bias slices

  • 450g bite-sized pasta of your choice

  • 2 firm apples, cored and diced

  • 1 ltr heavy cream

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1/2 cup thinly sliced red onion

  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves

  • 2 teaspoons chopped parsley

  • 2 teaspoons salt

  • Freshly ground pepper

  • 1/2 box of Boursin Garlic & Herbs Cheese

  • 200g smoked turkey sausages, cut into thin bias slices

  • 225g bite-sized pasta of your choice

  • 1 firm apple, cored and diced

  • 500ml heavy cream

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1/2 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1/4 cup thinly sliced red onion

  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves

  • 1 teaspoon chopped parsley

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • Freshly ground pepper
